CEO & Founder

Dave is the CEO and founder of Blue Street Capital and brings 17 years of financing and IT experience. Prior to founding Blue Street Capital in 2004, David was Vice President of Sales at a prominent national financing company. In his 8 year tenure, he became a recognized expert in technology, setting up financing programs for solutions providers and OEMs who specialize in the sale of technology and technology related products.

Dave’s leadership philosophy focuses on understanding his customers’ business models to provide financing solutions that help them simplify and improve their business models. This is ultimately what drove Dave to start Blue Street Capital.

When he isn’t at work, Dave enjoys an active life filled with surfing, golf, and spending quality time with his family.

NICHOLAS WHITTEMORE

President

Prior to joining Blue Street Capital, Nicholas was President and CEO of 3 Step IT, Inc., a US subsidiary of 3 Step IT Oy, a Finland based vendor finance company headquartered in Helsinki. Nicholas has been involved in the technology finance business for many years working for such companies as AT&T Capital/Newcourt/CIT as SVP and General Manager and De Lage Landen as VP and General Manager of the US technology business unit.

Nick joined the Blue Street team because he loved the atmosphere – he was excited to be in an environment where everyone was motivated to accomplish as much as possible within a 5 hour work day.

After work, Nick enjoys golfing, trains in the art of Judo, and is an avid reader of the news and science.

Blue Street Capital is proud to announce the addition of Tom Coveney to our growing vendor finance team. Tom brings over 30 years of experience in the technology financing industry and has previously worked closely with esteemed businesses such as DLL, Bank of Boston and IBM.

As our regional VP, Tom is determined to help Blue Street Capital lead new business and account management initiatives in the Northeast, including NewYork, New Jersey and New England. Additionally, Tom and the Blue Street team will identify new technology vendor relationships and grow and expand their current vendor partnerships throughout the Northeast.  Tom joins Blue Street Capital having been serving as the Managing Director for Monroe Credit in Chicago.

Alex joined Blue Street Capital because of its unique, learning centric, culture. It is in that type of education focused environment where he has been able to thrive in sales.

He has over 1o years experience in this industry, and his knowledge is invaluable to the team. When Alex isn’t helping fund IT projects, he is a world traveler. Having been to over 30 countries with his wife, he makes it a point to visit two new countries a year so he can learn about new ways of living and different cultures.

After moving to Southern California from Michigan, Amy felt the need to change her career from public education as an Achievement & Behavior Specialist and Admin Manager.  She joined Blue Street and is able to use her administrative and management skills in a thriving environment.  The five-hour workday helped her decision to become a BSC Team Member!

Amy is from Monroe, Michigan.  She loves spending time with her 3 boys and husband while traveling, cooking, and riding bikes.

Her goal is to enhance the sense of reliability, organization, and overall happiness to BSC.

Mike came to Blue Street Capital from the Financial Advisory world.  He brings lots of financial experience and skills.  He was initially interested in the 5-Hour Work Day, but after a few interviews, he wanted to be a part of the winning culture that prides itself on adding massive value to their clients and partners.

Mike is originally from Detroit, MI…like Amy.  He competed in ice hockey for 20 years and is an avid golfer and guitar player…ask him to sing…you won’t be disappointed.

Joined BSC because he wanted to work in a less-than-corporate environment, in a thriving company with huge upside potential.

Tom is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, then the Portland Metro Area.  He is a big football guy (not in size), both college and NFL, and also loves Formula 1 Driving Simulators.

Tom brings a level of expertise in both Sales and Customer Service with a Technology focus, a strong work ethic, and a competitive drive with the will to win.

Todd is originally from Florence, Kentucky.  However, his last profession was in Seoul, South Korea as an English Language Teacher.

Coming back from South Korea, Todd wanted to find a place that aligned with his values and could thrive in.

His main hobbies include swimming, surfing, yoga, and rock climbing. His three big interests are in cars, global cultures, and building computers.

Josh is originally from the small town of Fort Mitchell, KY, and is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky. While a student, he gained valuable experience in marketing while working for the UK athletics department.

When Josh heard from Todd Sheets about an open opportunity with Blue Street, he moved across the country to join a fun and hard-working team that has major goals to grow and prosper.

When not in the office, Josh enjoys golfing, surfing, and having his heart broken by his beloved Cincinnati sports teams every year.
