DOCUMENTATION AND FUNDING SPECIALIST

Blue Street Capital, LLC is a Huntington Beach based Tech Finance Company.

MAJOR GOALS OF ROLE:

  1. Ensure customer service consistently meets company goals
    1. Consistent delivery of accurate documentation to ensure correct funding
    2. Serve as a liaison between our company and the customer to ensure
    3. Customer satisfaction
  2. Accurate booked/funded transactions forecast

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Documentation:
    1. Proactively protect customer relationship by serving as customer liaison to ensure clear communication, timely delivery and superior service
    2. Generate and prepare transaction documents in a timely manner to ensure positive customer experience
    3. Create and issue purchase orders for vendors
    4. Track delivery dates and follow up with vendor on deliveries to ensure quick turn between install and funding
    5. Request final invoices upon install
    6. Perform lease documentation audits for accuracy and compliance with company policy
    7. Review signed agreements for accurate information and correct signer
    8. Work with sales and/or lessee to resolve documentation issues
    9. Apply full knowledge and understanding of state sales taxes to correctly calculate taxes based on lender tax matrix
    10. Prepare accurate and complete documentation packages and submit completed packages to funding sources
    11. Protect and maintain strong working relationship with vendors and banks/lenders
    12. Monitor compliance with Company policies and procedures within Finance function
  2. Funding
    1. Accurately prepare and file UCC’s as appropriate
    2. Audit new originations to ensure each finance transaction is accurately booked.
    3. Accurately apply payments and other fees received at time of booking
    4. Distribute payment transactions
  3. General Duties
    1. Accurately forecast booked/funded transactions on a monthly basis
    2. Respond to emails and telephone calls in a timely and efficient manner
    3. Monitor compliance with Company policies and procedures within documentation
    4. Easily move between individual deals and department responsibilities to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
    5. Observe all rules of confidentiality as they relate to Company information
  4. Other Duties as Assigned

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 2 years related industry experience in finance, customer service or office administration desired
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Proficiency with Google Suite of Products
    • Salesforce and DocuSign experience a plus
    • Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and attitude
    • Strong sense of urgency coupled with accuracy to get the job done accurately and in a timely manner
    • Understanding of lease documentation preferred
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to interface with banks, vendors, customers and co-workers on a professional and personable level
    • Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy

COMPENSATION

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: $45,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
